Lake Fork's Lake View Lodge, Marina & RV Park Lake Fork is
Texas’ Premier trophy bass fishing lake, located in northeast Texas. It is host to
the state record bass, weighing 18.18 lbs, caught on January 24, 1993 in 42 feet of water.
Lake Fork is also home to 36 of the top 50 bass in Texas weighing over 15 lbs!
It is 27,000 surface acres, located between the towns of Emory, Alba, and Yantis, and is
only an 1 1/2 - 2 hours drive from Dallas/Fort Worth, and a 45 minute drive from Tyler.
Lake Fork has an abundance of grass, timber, and other bass holding habitat, with a good
forage base of shad and crawfish. The Texas Parks and Wildlife originally stocked Lake
Fork with mostly pure Florida Strain bass, and today they continue to stock Lake Fork to
insure a trophy bass lake for years to come. As well, a slot measurement and limit was
instituted to protect the larger bass. A daily limit of 5 bass can be kept, with only one
measuring over 24 inches, and all bass between 16 inches and 24 inches must be returned to
Lake Fork. Catch and Release has become synonymous with this prized trophy lake, and as a
result has produced quality bass since it's inception.
Located mid lake on the west arm, our peaceful village atmosphere was designed for fishermen, with your needs in mind. Private boat ramps are available to registered guests only. Lake View Lodge, staff, and guides want to make your stay with us enjoyable. We have 22 guest units, which include 14 rooms, and 8 kitchenettes.
Lake View Lodge RV Sites are offered as Annual Lease or Overnight RV sites. Shady trees adorn each lot, and has electricity, water, and sewage hook-ups. For your enjoyment and convenience, two private boat ramps, 115 ft fishing dock, and fish cleaning station. Professional Guides on site. Lodging is nestled away in a private cove, with a great water view. Individual spotlessly clean rooms feature queen beds, clock/radio, coffee makers, color televisions, phones, decks, and outside electric outlets at each room. All units are ground level, and parking at each room. Handicap accessible rooms available. Bar-B-Que Pits, picnic tables, and lots of trees for your outside gatherings. Our 8 large kitchenettes feature large living areas, sleeps 6 or more, 2 baths, and has refrigerator, range, microwave, dishes, pans, utensils, color televisions, and air conditioning/heat. Lots of parking and outside electrical outlets for boats. Clean and spacious, just right for vacations or week-end fishing trips. Lake View Lodge’s main consideration is your stay is an enjoyable experience. Lake View Lodge RV Annual lease lots are large and have lots of trees, with water, electric, sewage, and TV hook-ups. Private ramp for yearly lease tenants. Private Boat Ramp for registered guests only. No waiting in long lines to launch! Electrical outlets on the water. Also for your enjoyment, we have a 115 feet Fishing Dock that is well lit and convenient parking for the dock or launch ramp. Lake View Lodge’s protected cove is ideal for club or group tournaments. On water parking and electric outlets Lake View Lodge has 32 tree covered acres that is ideal for large group, family, or corporate gatherings.
