Guides and Boats
Guides are all native to the lake. Many have as much as 14
years experience.
All guides are always clean, neat and courteous every day.
Your guide will do his best every day from day break to dark
to ensure you are on top of the biggest fish all the time.
The guides speak enough English to make you day go along
smoothly.
Guides usually like to fish some of the time out of the back
of the boat. At your option, they will not fish at all.
Boats are 17 to 20 foot fiberglass with 40 to 48 horsepower
engines. They are plenty fast and smooth riding. They have lots of foot room and are
equipped with swivel seats, trolling motors and fully charged batteries.
Trophy Fish Policy
It is the lodge's policy for no fish to be kept under 8
pounds and only one fish per person per day. Your big fish will be frozen and wrapped, if
you request, but we encourage you to use fiberglass replicas. They last longer and you
can't tell the difference. You will need your own ice chest if you will take your fish
home.
