LodgeReport: Fishing Report 73 degree water temp, good black bass to 8 lb 5 oz in 2' water on watermelon lizard near the pump station. Good small bass to 3 lbs in 2' water along sandy banks near the marina on sour grape and watermelon worms. Several slot fish 14-21" caught and released near the banks across from the marina. Still many bedding bass near the islands and the pumpstation to the right of the marina. Occasional large crappie to 2 3/4 lb on small Rat L Trap off marina pier 6PM, better numbers of smaller crappie later evening and very good crappie in coves near the dam in 6' water near piers on live minnows late morning. Good red ear bream on live worms late evening near piers. Fly Fishermen caught bream along banks near marina. May is usually the month for spawning red ear bream. No report catfish.
