Get-A-Way Adventures fishing, hunting & birding lodge located on the North Shore of the Port Mansfield Harbor, overlooking the pristine Lower Laguna Madre in Texas. Capt. Bruce W. and Shirley Shuler are the hosts for your visit, and our name says it all: Get-A-Way Adventures Lodge, specializing in complete saltwater fishing and birding packages. Our goal is to to handle all your accommodation, fishing and birding needs with one phone call, and to ensure that your stay is the most memorable, relaxing get-a-way possible.
The three main species we target in the Laguna are trout, redfish and flounder. Numerous other species, including drum, whiting, sand trout and more are available if requested. Our guides use both live bait and artificial for taking the Big Three. If artificial baits are going to be used you will be notified of type and color prior to your arrival.
